Sushant
Singh Rajput is all set for his upcoming film Chanda Mama Door Ke, in
which he plays the role of an astronaut. He is currently at NASA prepping up
for his role.
The makers posted
a picture of the actor in NASA captioning it as, “Our upcoming release Chanda
Mama Door Ke is the first ever Bollywood film to visit NASA for training!”
A few days back,
Sushant tweeted a picture of himself with miniature rockets while sitting
inside a 'life size' rocket and captioned the picture as, "From a
miniature Rocket to a life size one, this grown up kid will never cease to
Dream. My mother always wanted her 'Sushant in Space'. (sic)"
Earlier, while
talking to a section of media about his role Sushant had said, “I am a science
student. All the theories I have heard or thought about it, they were concepts
in my mind. will be visiting NASA and get an idea about the training that
individuals undergo to become astronauts. I will be sitting in a comet and
experience 1/6th of my weight on the moon. I am over the moon right now for an
experience.”

Ke is directed by National Award-winning director Sanjay Puran Singh
Chauhan (Lahore) and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan. Nawazuddin,
who also plays an astronaut, will join after completing Nandita
Das' Manto. R Madhavan will play the role of a test pilot in the film.
Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Raabta and his forthcoming
projects include that of Tarun Mansukhani's Drive, co-starring Jacqueline
Fernandez in the pipeline. Sushant Singh Rajput and Sidharth Malhotra were
in for a box-office clash on November 3 with Drive and Ittefaq respectively. However, that's no longer
going to happen as Sushant’s action thriller has been pushed to Holi next year.
