Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s passed away due to suicide at the young age of 34 and his death has sent out shock waves across the country. After the actor’s sudden and untimely demise, the police have been investigating his suicide case in-out and also sharing information on the development. It was just recently reported that as Sushant was in a contract with Yash Raj Films, a copy of it, signed by the late actor was demanded by the Police. Now, according to the latest reports, in another development, the Police officials confirm receiving the copy for further investigation.
Speaking with ANI, DCP Zone 9, Mumbai, Abhishek Trimukhe, told ANI that by far, in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, statements of 15 people have been recorded. As reported by the news agency, Trimukhe said, “In #SushantSinghRajput death case at Bandra Police Station, statements of his managerial staff recorded. Investigation officer has received contract copy signed by Rajput from Yash Raj Films. Statements of 15 ppl have been recorded".
As the police investigation began soon after the Bollywood actor’s demise, talking about the case, the DCP shared another latest update on the case. This comes after the Sushant’s contract copy was requested by the police from YRF for investigation. Sushant starred in two of YRF’s films- Shuddh Desi Romance and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and was supposed to star in filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s Paani, a movie backed by Yash Raj Films, which was later shelved.
