More than a month ago, Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode following a shocking course of events. The actor hung himself to death after reportedly battling depression for a long time. And while police investigation for the same is underway, fans have been repeatedly demanding a CBI probe instead. Every day, we come across several hashtags on Twitter with fans pouring in their outrage. A lot of celebrities, too, have joined this movement. Sushant Singh Rajput's family, however, has kept mum on the CBI interference. Now, the Kedarnath actor's sister Shweta Singh Kirti was quizzed about the same. Read on to know how she reacted.
Under a Facebook post by Shweta, a fan asked her why no one from Sushant's family is asking for a CBI enquiry in his death case. The comment read, "Shweta why you and your family is not demanding for CBI enquiry, if Sushant family demands CBI enquiry then whole country will support this. See only the fans are asking that is why the government is not considering it yet. There are many evidences which suggests that, there might be some false play in it. Like SIM cards, no financial pressure, age only 34, last movie super hit." In response to the same, Shweta wrote that the whole family is waiting for police officials to complete their investigation and come up with reports.
"We are waiting for Mumbai Police to finish the investigation and come up with their reports," wrote Sushant's sister.
