Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, 2020, left the nation shocked, and since then, many of the actor’s fans have been requesting for a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. The case took yet another turn after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting Sushant’s suicide, following which a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to investigate the case. Recently, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti wrote to PM Narendra Modi asking for justice in the matter. Now, Sushant’s other sister Priyanka Singh requested PM Modi, Amit Shah and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for a CBI inquiry to get justice for her brother.
Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh took to her Twitter and urged PM Modi, Amit Shah and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to help them launch a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. She wrote, “In the light of obstructions caused to #BiharPolice in the case of @itsSSR,we humbly demand #CBIforShushant . My brother deserves justice. @PMOIndia@AmitShah, @NitishKumar, help us in the fair probe in the interest of justice #CBIForSSRHomicideCase.” In yet another tweet shared earlier, Priyanka wrote, “Though still reeling under the shock and trauma of my brother’s demise, I summon the courage to humbly say that my soul friend @itsSSR deserves justice #JusticeforSushantSingRajput.”
