The CBI took over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, after the Supreme Court passed its verdict on Wednesday. A team of CBI had arrived in Mumbai a few days ago, and the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is currently underway. Statements of people linked to the actor are being recorded, and per the latest reports, Sushant’s landlord has now been summoned by the CBI. Reports also suggest that Siddharth Pithani, Sushant’s cook Neeraj, staff member Dipesh Sawant will be questioned once again by the agency.
According to Times Now, Sushant’s landlord has been summoned by the CBI. After Sushant’s cook Neeraj and SSR’s friend Siddharth Pithani had earlier been questioned by the CBI, now the landlord who used to own the house where Sushant lived has been summoned as well. According to Times Now, the CBI first wants to tie all loose ends with respect to the people who were present in the house on the 13th and 14th of June to try and understand what happened in the hours leading to Sushant’s death. This is why all people who were present in the house are being questioned to try and see if there are any inconsistencies.
After that, Times Now also reports that the CBI will try to speak to Rhea and her brother; however, a date hasn’t been fixed for when they will be summoned.
