While Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), one of the late actor’s friends Sunil Shukla has approached the High Court, seeking CBI probe into Sushant’s former manager Disha Salian’s death. According to a report in PTI, Sunil Shukla thinks that Sushant’s death is linked to the death case of his former manager Disha Salian, which is why the CBI should probe Disha’s death case too. Sunil Shukla was Sushant’s gym partner and friend.
PTI reports that in his petition, Sunil Shukla claimed that both Sushant and Disha died under ‘suspicious circumstances’. It also mentioned that the Mumbai Police haven’t considered several aspects while investigating Disha Salian’s demise. The petition stated that Sunil Shukla has documentary evidence to prove that Disha and Sushant were in touch from March to April 2020; further adding that the CBI is already investigating Sushant’s death and so, Disha’s death case should also be transferred to the CBI.
For the unversed, a few days before Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, his ex-manager Disha Salian had died after reportedly falling from the 14th floor of her building in Malad, Mumbai.
Meanwhile, apart from the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are also probing the money laundering and drug angle respectively linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty had been arrested by the NCB. After almost a month, Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
