Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had approached the Delhi High court seeking ban on the films based on his life. SSR’s father stated that a movie was released on an ‘obscure’ website and even sought a stay on its release. However, the Delhi High Court had earlier refused to stay the release of the film. The court also advised SSR’s father to speak with the makers and resolve the dispute. According to a report, now the Delhi High court has allowed late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh to approach single judge over the release of the film Nyay: The Justice.

According to a report in IndiaTV, SSR’s father was granted liberty to approach the single judge with his grievances surrounding the release of the film based on the late actor’s life. The report mentioned that a bench of two judges said that the parties were “free to advance their stand” before the single judge in the view of the fact that the film Nyay: The Justice is now released digitally. As per the report, while disposing the appeal, the division bench said, “Contentions of the appellant (Krishna Kishore Singh) will be examined in the background of the film that is available on Lapalap Original website.”

The report further mentioned that the division bench clarified that in case the makers of the movie intend on bringing any changes, the information on the same will be communicated to KK Singh. As per the report, KK Singh would then be at liberty to approach the single judge if so advised.

For the unversed, the division bench was hearing the appeal filed by SSR’s father against the single-judge order refusing to stay the release of the film Nyay: The Justice. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, last year. He was found dead in his Mumbai apartment.
