Recently, the special team of doctors from AIIMS, re-evaluating Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report, submitted their report to the CBI. In their report, the doctors ruled out the murder and said SSR indeed died by suicide. They clearly stated there were no marks on SSR’s body other than hanging. Well, this piece of decision doesn’t seem to go down well with SSR’s family and their family lawyer Vikas Singh. Soon after the Forensic Team’s decision, lawyer Vikas Singh penned a letter to CBI and asked the investigation team to question AIIMS’ Forensic Head Dr. Gupta. Now during his latest interview, Lawyer Singh said he regrets not recording Dr. Gupta’s phone calls where he talked about ‘strangulation’. He further threatens to move to court, if CBI doesn’t react to his letter.

The family lawyer told Republic TV, "When the Sushant tragedy happened and we got the FIR registered, he [Gupta] only rang me up. I said I'm not interested in any help, I'm only interested in the truth. So I shared some photographs taken by Sushant's sister Meetu at the site. Two photos were floating around, a morphed one which somebody had created and the one Meetu had taken from her camera. So I sent him Meetu's photos and his immediate, spontaneous reaction was that if this photo is genuine, then this line he sees on Sushant's neck is a 200% death by strangulation. When I asked him if he should see other reports, he said if this photo is genuine, then its death by strangulation. This kind of mark will not come by the cloth with which he is supposed to have hanged.”

Later, Lawyer Singh said he regrets not recording the phone calls of Dr. Gupta where he talked about the death by strangulation. “I'm not the kind of person who records calls, but in retrospect, I should have. But I'm sure when this goes to further examination his lies will be exposed,” he added.

Not only that, he even decides to take a legal route. He said, “Hence I've told CBI Gupta's role should be examined and who he spoke to should be found. I will also write to the Medical Council of India and if the CBI doesn't do anything, I will also go to the court.” (ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput’s Last Film Dil Bechara To Have A Theatrical Release?
