Rhea Chakraborty filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking a transfer of the FIR made against her by Sushant Singh Rajput's father in Patna. Meanwhile, the centre gave a green signal for CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Now, everything depends on the Supreme Court's verdict. In the last session, the Apex Court reserved its decision and asked the involved parties to give their written replies. However, Sushant's family lawyer, Vikas Singh expressed shock over the delay in the Supreme Court's judgement and shared that every hour is crucial for the evidence.
Talking to Republic, Vikas Singh said that he is very shocked by this delay and further shared that it is supposedly happening because the judge wants to give out a detailed decision. However, the time is getting wasted, shared Vikas Singh. He was quoted, "I believe the delay is happening because the respected judge is writing a detailed judgement. What our expectation from the judiciary was that the nod to CBI should have been given that day itself, the detailed judgement could have been pronounced later. If there was a doubt of allowing the Mumbai Police to continue, then only I believe it's taking so much time. Otherwise, I fail to understand this delay in a case where not just a day but a single hour is also extremely crucial for evidence."
He further mentioned that it would be a big blow to the case if crucial evidences have been tempered in the meantime. CBI is also awaiting clarity, he said.
The last Supreme Court's session in Rhea's plea took place on August 11. (Also Read: Anupam Kher Talks About Sushant Singh Rajput's Death; Mentions About Stars Being Scared To Come Out And Comment)
