Lawyer Vikas Singh who is representing Sushant Singh Rajput's family in the case stated that the report given out by AIIMS is not conclusive as it is based on photographic evidence. Sharing that the experts could not examine the mortal remains of the deceased, to ETimes he said, "AIIMS report is not conclusive and CBI in its charge sheet can still file a case of murder in Sushant Singh Rajput death case."
Vikas Singh further quoted saying, "They don't have the X-ray of the leg which is said to have been fractured so it cannot be conclusive at the most it could be taken as a piece of evidence in the case."
Vikas Singh's reaction comes after Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde in his statement stated that the truth does not change. After the AIIMS ruling out murder theory came to light, to IANS, Rhea's lawyer said, "I have seen the statement of the Doctors from AIIMS concerning SSR case. The official papers and report are only with AIIMS and CBI which will be submitted in court once investigations are over. We await the official version of CBI. We on behalf of Rhea Chakraborty have always said that Truth cannot be changed under any circumstances. The speculations against Rhea in some quarters of the Media are motivated and mischievous. We remain committed to Truth Alone.” (Also Read: Akshay Kumar BREAKS Silence On Alleged Drug Nexus In Bollywood And Sushant Singh Rajput's Death; Accepts That The Problem Of Narcotics Exists - WATCH)
