Just like Sushant Singh Rajput's death who reportedly died by suicide on June 14, his former manager Disha Salian's death case who also reportedly ended her life by allegedly jumping off from a high-rise building on June 8 is now being investigated. According to a report in Republic, the CBI is probing a possible link between the death cases of Sushant and Disha Salian. It is also said that Sushant had made frantic calls between June 11 and 13. Not only that, the report further stated that there's a possibility that Disha Salian’s fiancé Rohan Rai may be called in for questioning by the CBI in the Sushant death probe. Amidst all this, BJP MLA Nitesh Rane took to his social media account and shared a copy of a letter which he penned to Union Home Minister Amit Shah where he is seen seeking protection for Disha Salian's fiancé Rohan Rai.
Earlier, BJP leader Nitesh Rane, while speaking to Republic, raised questions over Rohan Rai’s role. However, in the letter to Shah, Rane wrote, “Rohan was present in the house when she allegedly fell from the highrise building but despite that, it is said that he went down to the spot 20 to 25 minutes later only, which points to suspicious behaviour.” Rane even chalked out the reasons for asking for Rohan Rai's protection by stating that the latter may have been asked to avoid scrutiny and hence, had to flee from Mumbai.
He also alleged that ‘some influential people’ may have put pressure on him thus, he is ‘scared’ to return now.
