From past few months, the Narcotics Control Bureau has been probing the drug syndication case which emerged soon after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Sushant allegedly ended his life at his Bandra West Apartment on June 14 and it’s been 4 months since CBI, ED and NCB are investigating the case very closely. While there has hardly been any development in the late actor’s death case, anti-narcotics officials have been making arrests every now and then. Now in the recent development, NCB has sent 85 gadgets of Bollywood celebs and their associates for data extraction.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, 85 gadgets of Bollywood stars like Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and their associates among others have been sent to The Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS) in Gandhi Nagar. A source close to the developments revealed to the portal that the data extracted by Forensic in Gujarat from 30 of these cell phones has been handed over to NCB following which NCB has been conducting raids and making arrests in Mumbai.
The data handed to NCB includes deleted voice clips, video clips and chat messages and the cell phone numbers from which these were sent. The source further added that 25 drug samples have also been sent to Gujarat Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) that NCB recovered from raids. Forensic lab will check the quality to track down the buyers.
