Ever since reports of Sushant Singh Rajput's demise have made it to the headlines, filmmaker Karan Johar has been on the receiving end. Karan Johar penned a heartfelt post and stated that he regrets not being in touch with Sushant for the past one year, but netizens bashed him for indulging in favourism. A debate on nepotism took momentum on social media and KJo received massive backlash from all corners. Though he has stayed mum so far, in a surprising move, KJo has unfollowed many on Twitter.
Karan Johar has unfollowed many accounts and is just following eight people on the micro-blogging site. Out of the eight accounts, four are of his production house Dharma and other four are of Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is not even following his proteges Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra on Twitter. He has also unfollowed the accounts of his best friends like Kajol and others.
One wonders if this move of Karan Johar is because of the backlash he has received in the past four days over Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
