Today, much to our dismay, one of the talented actors Sushant Singh Rajput died and is no more between us as the actor died due to suicide. However, this news did hit us hard and all of a sudden and now along with the media fraternity, his million fans and the entire nation is mourning over his death. According to the reports, he was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, earlier this morning. Also, his death brings in a focus on the issue of mental health. As everyone in the industry is paying tributes to the late actor, Deepika Padukone too shared her feelings on her social media handles.

Earlier, Deepika, who herself has had and lived through the experience with mental illness, stressed the importance of reaching out, shared a note about the same which read, “As a person who has had a lived experience with mental illness, I cannot stress enough about the importance of reaching out. Talk. Communicate. Express. Seek Help. Remember, You are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is hope." She mentioned in her caption using the hashtag ‘You are not alone.’ However, this time again she shared a note for the media, related to the late actor.

While sharing another note on her Twitter handle, she humbly told the media the difference, saying the people commit a crime and they don’t commit suicide, her note read, "My dear friends in the media, criminals 'commit' a crime. People don't 'commit' suicide. They 'die by suicide.' Their actions arise out of deep anguish. Thank you..."


This note came right after when every news portals were mentioning ‘Sushant Singh Rajput passed away after committing suicide.’ For the same, Deepika chose to enlighten the media with this knowledge. Just recently, Mirzapur actor Vikrant Massey blasted on media for heavily circulating his mortal remains pictures on social media. The pictures are not only being forwarded in groups but TV news channels have also been using it on their news channel while blurring the last pictures.
