It was his maid who first found the actor hanging in his bedroom and informed Mumbai police about the same. Soon after the news spread like wildfire on the Internet, his fans and industry friends paid condolences to his family via social media. For those who don’t know, Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian took the drastic step by jumping off from the 14th floor of her building in Malad.
Soon after SSR’s mortal remains was taken to the Cooper hospital for the post-mortem, Mumbai police began to investigate the Disha angle too, which might have been somehow linked to the actor’s step. But it seems like, that’s not the case now. As per the latest Tweeted by entertainment newspaper’s Twitter handle, Mumbai police has apparently denied linked to actor’s former manager Disha’s suicide. But reportedly, the cops will now focus on his bank account.
The Tweet read, “Mumbai Police denies link to his former manager's suicide. Cops to focus on the actor's bank statement!”
Meanwhile, the entire nation is mourning the loss of Kedarnath actor, who was last seen in Netflix film Drive opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. Jackie shared a stunning selfie with the deceased and wrote in the caption, “Sush... I’m so sorry... RIP.” She went on to share a BTS video during the Drive shoot.
