The sudden and untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput sent shockwaves across the country. Talking to news channels on Saturday, according to a report in Hindustan Times, as it was late Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K K Singh, who had lodged the FIR with Patna police, chief minister Nitish Kumar said that if he demands a CBI probe, his government could think of recommending it to the ministry of home affairs (MHA). Talking about the investigation by the Bihar Police in Mumbai, Kumar said that it was their duty to conduct an investigation and mentioned that they were doing so.
CM Nitish Kumar then said, “Mumbai police should cooperate with Bihar police since a case was lodged by the actor’s father. Bihar police is investigating the case with full honesty and sincerity. The family should get justice.” Kumar mentioned that the Bihar Police is investigating the case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput with full honesty and sincerity and said that his family should get justice.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14. The late actor’s father KK Singh recently filed an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and made 16 allegations against her. Rhea on the other hand recently made a statement in a video surfaced online.
