For an aspiring actor with no connections or filmy background, it’s quite a big struggle to foray and then make a mark into the world of Bollywood. A lot of successful stars, however, have broken these perceptions and their success stories serve as enough proof. The best example of which was Sushant Singh Rajput, whose journey went on from one brilliant student to a dancer to a TV to finally becoming an established Bollywood star. Sadly, he hung himself to death on June 14, leaving millions of fans heartbroken.

Ever since the actor's death, a lot of fans are circulating some inspiring bits from his old interviews to cherish the beautiful and grounded human being that he was. One such video of Sushant at the trailer launch of his debut film Kai Po Che has gone viral, in which, he talks about how people advised him to not to leave the television industry as he won't get films. Sushant, however, followed his heart and the outcome wasn't disappointing at all. "Bolte hai TV safe hai aur chodo mat, films nahi milegi lekin hamesha dil ki sunni chahiye aur main chahta tha ki main aur sikhu isiliye maine chodi TV," said Sushant.

He added, "Jab maine yeh script padha toh sab yahi keh rahe the lekin seriously mujhe goosebumps hogaye aur maine auditions diya. I'm so happy and excited ki main is film ka hissa hoon. (People said that TV is safe, don't leave it because you won't get films but one should always listen to his heart. And I always wanted to learn more so I left the television industry. When I read this script, I got goosebumps and gave auditions. I'm so happy and excited to be a part of this film)."

Well, before making it huge in films, Sushant was a popular telly face due to his portrayal of Manav in Pavitra Rishta. He, however, exited the show to spread his magic on the big screens and the rest, as they say, is history.
