Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14. The actor allegedly died by suicide but no note was found. Since then, the Mumbai Police were investigating SSR’s death case and also recorded the statements of over 40 people. It was recently that the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. With CBI investigating the case, the latest reports claim that the kurta which was allegedly used by the actor to hang himself could bear upto 200 kgs of weight.
According to the report in India Today, the Mumbai Police that was investigating the death of Sushant Singh Rajput since June 14, found out that the kurta used for hanging could bear the weight of up to 200 Kgs. This important detail related to SSR’s case was found by the Mumbai police on July 27. As per the report, the Mumbai Police had received a forensic report regarding the tensile strength of the kurta. The forensic report clarified that the kurta SSR used could be used for hanging as it was capable of carrying the weight.
The report also mentioned that the traces of the fiber of the Kurta matched with the fiber found on SSR’s neck. As per the report, the post-mortem report of Sushant Singh Rajput confirmed that the kurta was used while hanging, following that, the Mumbai Police had sent the same to a forensic lab for testing the tensile strength to understand whether it could hold the weight similar to the late actor. Apart from that, the test was also carried out to understand whether there was any foul play.
