Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer held a press conference this evening and reacted to allegations levelled against the actor’s family. Vikas Singh, SSR’s family lawyer refuted claims made by Rhea Chakraborty that sister Priyanka Singh changed medicines and mentioned that she suggested him the medicines for anxiety. After late Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer claims that ‘malicious campaign’ is being run to bring down the actor's family, a new report states that SSR’s sister Priyanka Singh’s statement to the CBI shows that she was aware of her brother feeling low and a doctor from Andheri.
As SSR’s family lawyer claimed a ‘malicious campaign’ is run against the family, India Today reports statements made by the late actor’s sisters and Vikas Singh about Sushant’s mental health that are contradictory. While the family lawyer continues to maintain that SSR’s had no mental problems until 2019 when he met Rhea Chakraborty, the report states how Sushant was seeking help from Dr Harish Shetty back in 2013.
On the other hand, Sushant's sister Priyanka Singh in her statement to the CBI mentioned that she was about her brother feeling low, as per the report. The reported statement of SSR’s sister Priyanka read, “In November 2019, my brother Sushant was feeling low and hence he was taking medical treatment with Dr. Kesri Chawda in Hinduja hospital.”
