Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly ended his life on June 14. More than a month later, SSR’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and 5 others. To investigate the money laundering angle in SSR’s death case, the Enforcement Directorate stepped in followed by the Narcotics Control Bureau. While his family, friends and fans continue to seek justice for SSR and his family, one can witness the focus shifting to the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut recently picked up on NCB for calling-in Bollywood celebs for questioning in drug probe, every now and then.

ANI quoted Sanjay Raut saying, “Narcotics Control Bureau's job is to prevent drug smuggling, but here they are calling one person after the other. In which field, there is no addiction? Some have an addiction to money, some have other addictions.” While addressing the media, Sanjay Raut also questioned, "Who doesn’t take drugs? Why target people from one industry? NCB must prevent drug smuggling.”

This afternoon, Ranveer Singh’s stylist Nitasha Gaurav too shared a similar thought process. She took to Insta story and questioned why only actors are being questioned and not Naga Sadhus. She wrote, “What are people’s thoughts on all the sadhus and babas, who they worship, smoking chillums all day? What about Holi and all the bhang that’s consumed then? Folks who’ve been to the Kumbh mela, plenty of smoking happening there too, yes? Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t the government have shops selling bhang in Benaras? Isn’t all that marijuana too? So all that is okay? When are we arresting them?”

Raveena Tandon, on the other hand, also thinks Bollywood celebs are soft targets. She Tweeted, “The 'Big Guys' in my tweet. No drug supply can happen without the ashirwad of local authorities. Those are the Big fish that swim away unquestioned. If a Journo can reach the suppliers on stings. Can’t the authorities sniff them out? Celebrities are soft targets (sic).” (ALSO READ: NCB's Questionnaire For Deepika Padukone ACCESSED; Officials To Ask ‘What Do You Mean By ‘Maal’? And Other Things- REPORTS)
