According to the latest reports Republic, in the on-going Supreme court hearing, advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi representing the Maharashtra Government in Rhea’s plea said, “Have you ever seen a state so desperately pursuing a case for prosecution? I think not. This is nothing but politics. Bihar government is clutching at the straws because of the Bihar elections."
Abhishek Singhvi questioned if one has ever seen a state so desperately pursuing a case for prosecution, talking about Bihar government and added that he has not. The Maharashtra Government representative then mentioned that it’s nothing but politics and said that Bihar government is clutching at the straws, finally claiming that their interference is due to the upcoming elections.
