The Supreme Court hearing for Rhea Chakraborty's petition for transferring her late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput's death probe from Bihar police to Mumbai police is underway from some time now. Reportedly, Rhea's counsel opened the argument by saying how the Patna police have nothing to do with the FIR since the incident happened in Mumbai. He further alleged Sushant's father of using his 'influential relatives' to 'frame Rhea'. Now, as per a fresh update by Times Now, the Bihar counsel has countered Rhea's lawyer by claiming that there has been no political pressure from Bihar, instead, it's coming from Maharashtra.

The Bihar counsel also brought up IPS Vinay Tiwari getting quarantined, immediately after landing in Mumbai to probe Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. "Bihar government's counsel advocate Maninder Singh told the SC that there was political pressure on the Mumbai police to not investigate the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. He also pointed out that the SP of police (from Bihar) was put in detention in the name of quarantine by the BMC and that it was a matter of sadness and pain that the IPS officer was not released immediately even after the Supreme Court had asked them to do so," reports Republic.

Further, Mahinder Singh, the Bihar counsel, also argued how the Mumbai Police carried on the investigation without registering an FIR.

In other news, the Enforcement Directorate is suspecting Rhea Chakraborty's earnings, which are reportedly bigger than her earnings. "In the financial year 2017-18, Rhea’s gross earning is around Rs 18 lakh and it continues to remain the same in the financial year 2018-19 as well. However, the total fixed assets of Rhea increased from Rs 96,000 to Rs 9 lakh in the year 2018 and 2019," reports  Republic. Further, the news portal alleges how Rhea bought shareholder funds worth Rs 34 lakh in 2017-18, while her warnings were Rs 18 lakh. The ED is expected to probe further on this matter, as they suspect that Rhea is not disclosing the source of her income.
