Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is now in the hands of CBI. The Bihar Government requested Centre for a CBI Probe in the late actor's death case, and the request was approved. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta revealed to the Supreme Court that the CBI has accepted the request during the hearing of Rhea Chakraborty's plea to transfer the FIR filed against her in Patna to Mumbai. Today, Rhea has appeared in front of the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering probe connected to Sushant's case. However, earlier in the morning, the actress had requested for the postponement of the interrogation. But, her request was rejected by ED and she was asked to join the probe.
On this, Sushant's relative came forward and said that she should not run away from the probe. News agency ANI tweeted a quote of a relative of Sushant Singh Rajput that read, "Rhea Chakraborty should not run away from probe if she is innocent. She should produce evidence for the same. We are demanding an unbiased investigation into the case. No culprits should be spared: Niraj Kumar Singh Babloo, BJP MLA & a relative of #SushantSinghRajput."
As Rhea Chakraborty made an appearance in the ED office, she was accompanied by her brother Showik Chakraborty. The interrogation is on and the details of the same are expected to be out soon.
