Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who was living-in with the actor, allegedly walked out from the late actor’s Bandra abode on June 8 and the duo has not been in touch till SSR allegedly ended his life on June 14. Post his death and the big fiasco that followed, Rhea spoke to India Today, keeping her side of the story on the national television for the first time ever. As the Jalebi actress is making some shocking revelations about their relationship, she recently has reacted to the allegations of destroying SSR’s 8 hard drives on the day she left him.
Earlier in an interview, SSR’s flatmate and content manager Siddharth Pithani claimed that Rhea sent IT team to late actor’s house on June 8 and destroyed his 8 hard drives at his abode. Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh even claimed that when the actor tried to stop them from destroying the hard drive, he got a threat call. Now during her first ever interview, Rhea reacted to the allegations and told India Today, “This is a baseless allegation, there was no hard drive that I know of, no one came while I was there. Perhaps, after I left, his sister may have called someone, but I am not aware of it. Till the time I am there, nothing of the sort happened. I don't even think Siddharth Pithani said something like that, I believe this is a concocted story, much like several others doing the rounds.”
Further, when asked about Sandip Ssingh, who’s claiming to be Rajput’s close friend, Rhea said, “I don't know Sandip, he has ever come home, he never called. If he is such a good friend, where was he from the last one-and-a-half years?”
