Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his Mumbai residence. Since then, nearly more than a month after the late actor’s demise, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR in Patna against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and six others. Now, it was recently that a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the Bombay High court seeking transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case for a CBI probe. On Twitter, ANI tweeted, “Hearing in PIL filed in Bombay High Court, seeking transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput's death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation, postponed due to heavy rains in Mumbai.”
The Supreme Court recently rejected the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) request seeking transfer of Sushant’s case for the CBI probe. As the Bombay High Court was yet to give their verdict on the PIL filed, it was today that the hearing for the PIL was scheduled. Now, due to heavy rainfall in the city since last night, the PIL hearing that was scheduled to take place on August 4, has been cancelled.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father levelled 16 allegations at his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Recently, as ‘missing’ allegations were made at Rhea Chakraborty by the Bihar Police, her lawyer released a statement on the same. Rhea’s lawyer also issued a statement on the Bihar CM’s demand for the CBI probe.
