Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case took a turn after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting Sushant’s suicide. Apart from this, several other accusations about Rhea were made by Sushant’s father. Following this, a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai to investigate the case. Now, Patna SP Vinay Tiwari, who will lead the Bihar Police team probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, has also reached Mumbai.
ANI reported about the arrival of Vinay Tiwari in Mumbai, and after he reached Mumbai, he told reporters that the investigation by Bihar Police was going in the right direction and that senior officials are also satisfied with the investigation. He was quoted saying by ANI, “Our team is conducting a probe here for the past one week. The next step is supervision, for which a senior officer is needed. So I have been sent here. We are here to get all the important evidence and facts. We are taking statements of the concerned people. We are investigating every angle in the case."
He was also asked about the co-operation from Mumbai police to the Bihar police team, and he replied that he can’t say that coordination isn’t happening. He further stated that he would meet with his officers and discuss what will be done in the investigation further. “We have not received access to documents. We are trying our best,” he said.
Meanwhile, a few hours ago, Bihar Police stated that none of the sim cards that were being used by Sushant Singh Rajput, were registered in his name. Read more about it here.
