Almost 50 days after Sushant Singh Rajput ended his life, his father, Krishan Kishore Singh, who recently filed FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, released a video statement. In his video, he clearly stated, On Feb 25, he informed Bandra Police that SSR’s life was in jeopardy. But later in an unfortunate twist of events, SSR ended his life on June 14. The late actor’s father even revealed that he had asked cops to act against people he named in his Feb 25 complaint. However, as per him, no action was taken even after 40 days of his death, following which he decided to file an FIR in Patna.
Now Mumbai Police have reacted to the same. In their statement, cops said they deny the actor's family filing any such complaint. They have said ‘no written complaint was addressed to Bandra Police on Feb 25.’ They also revealed that late actor’s brother-in-law OP Singh had sent some messages to DCP Zone 9 regarding the matter. However, DCP requested OP Singh that a written complaint is mandatory.
ANI quoted Mumbai Police in their series of Tweets and wrote, “Case was registered on 14th June. Matter being probed by Bandra Police. #SushantSinghRajput's father released a statement that they had made a written complaint to Bandra Police on Feb 25. No such written complaint was addressed to Bandra Police Station on the date: Mumbai Police.”
