The night before the unfortunate incident, Sushant Singh Rajput had made two calls – one to his close friend Mahesh Shetty and the other to girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty – but both went unanswered as it was late in the night. After recording his statement with Mumbai Police, now Mahesh Shetty has made some shocking revelations in his recent statement to Bihar Police. Yes, that’s true! For the unversed, Mahesh Shetty was the first one to enter Sushant Singh Rajput’s room after he died by suicide. As per the latest reports, Bihar Police has recorded Mahesh Shetty’s statements, and based on the revelations he has made, plus him being the first one to enter the room, Bihar cops are planning to turn him into a prime witness.
A source from Bihar police revealed to CNN News 18, they are planning to make his close friend Mahesh Shetty a prime witness in the case after he recorded his statement. The CNN report also states that when Mahesh was questioned about SSR, he told cops he had advised Sushant to speak to his parent but Sushant told him Rhea would not allow him to do that. He also said that the Jalebi actress checked SSR’s phone constantly and she along with her mother wanted to change her entire team and the Kedarnath actor was unhappy about it.
A while back we told you, Sushant Singh Rajput’s other friend Siddharth Pithani revealed that he’s being pressurized to speak against Rhea Chakraborty. Pithani sent an email to Mumbai Police on July 28 at 2:48 PM.
