Reportedly, the court granted her bail on a few conditions, one of them is that Rhea should mark herself present for 10 days in the nearest police station while another one states that the Jalebi actress has to pay a surety of Rs 1 lakh. Meanwhile, apart from Rhea, SSR's house manager Samuel Miranda and house staff Dipesh Sawant who were also arrested due to their alleged link with drugs have been granted bail whereas, her brother Showik Chakraborty and drug-peddler Abdul Basit’s bail pleas were rejected by the Bombay HC.
Reacting to the bail, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, “We are Delighted by the Order of the Honourable Bombay High Court granting bail to Rhea Chakraborty. Truth and Justice have prevailed and ultimately the submissions on facts and law have been accepted by Justice Sarang V Kotwal. The arrest and custody of Rhea was totally unwarranted and beyond the reach of law. The hounding and witch hunt by three central agencies .. the CBI , ED and NCB of Rhea should come to an end. We remain committed to Truth. Satyamev Jayate ”
