It’s almost over three months since actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden demise and Narcotics Control Bureau probing the drugs angle in the case is still investigating. On Tuesday, it was reported that Sushant’s manager Jaya Saha was called for questioning by the NCB, for the second day in a row. In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, as per reports, in her statement to the NCB, SSR’s manager Jaya Saha revealed when she last spoke with the late actor and also shared that he was not keeping well.
India Today reported that in her statement, late Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Jaya Saha shared that she spoke with SSR on June 5 for a film project, just days before his sudden demise. In her statement, Jaya Saha also shared that she met Sushant in March 2020, and mentioned that he was not keeping well. SSR’s manager shared with the NCB in her statement that during the meeting, the late actor would often start walking, go inside the bedroom, and then return.
According to the reports, Jaya Saha who spoke with Sushant on June 5, had called him to offer him a film directed by Kumar Mangal. As per the reports, the late actor was being offered a sum of Rs 6 Crore. Reportedly, Sushant said that he liked the film and would want to work on it, but asked Jaya Saha to double the amount to Rs 12 Crore.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, in his Mumbai residence. The actor allegedly died by suicide and no note was found.
