The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is currently investigating actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The agency is probing the drugs angle in SSR’s death case after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) shared details of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s use and dealing in drugs, with the NCB, as per reports. In a significant development in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, as per reports, after SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi was sent back by the NCB, the agency has now issued summons to talent manager Jaya Saha and Shruti Modi.
According to a PTI report in The New Indian Express, an official said that the NCB has asked late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha to appear before it on Septemeber 21. The report states that Jaya Saha and Shruti Modi have been summoned on Monday i.e today.
SSR’s former manager Shruti Modi was called for questioning by the NCB after Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest. On the day that Shruti Modi arrived for questioning at the NCB office in Mumbai, she was sent back. SSR’s former manager’s questioning was postponed after an official from the Special Investigating Team (SIT) tested positive for COVID-19. Shruti Modi was summoned for questioning on Septemeber 16, while talent manager Jaya Saha was asked to appear on September 15.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, in his Mumbai residence.
