Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. The actor was reportedly found hanging from his ceiling fan in his apartment in Bandra. As per the reports, it was the actor's servant who informed the police and neighbours as Sushant did not answer when he knocked on his bedroom door. The early postmortem report had revealed that he died due to asphyxia because of hanging. Now, the final postmortem report confirms that there was no foul play and no injury marks on his body.
As per a report in IndiaToday.in, it has been reported that no struggle marks or external injuries were found on his body. The final report confirms that he died due to asphyxia, suffocation, because of hanging. His nails were also said to be clean and no strangulation marks were found. As per the reports, his viscera has been preserved and sent for further chemical analysis.
Earlier, some reports had linked Sushant's demise to the death of his former manager Disha Salian who also died by suicide a few days ago. However, the postmortem report has ruled out any possibility saying that there no foul play whatsoever.
In Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case, the Mumbai Police has been interrogating many people who were linked to the actor. His rumoured GF Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by the police and interrogated for almost 10 hours. Actor's friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani was also interrogated by the police. A lot of Sushant Singh Rajput's fans are demanding a CBI enquiry in his death case.
