Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left everyone shocked, with some still not coming to terms with the actor being gone forever. While netizens had urged the makers of his last film of his career Dil Bechara to release it in theatres, the makers have chosen to release the film on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020. Now taking to his Instagram account popular actor Diljit Dosanjh too shared the same thoughts, followed by spilling the beans about his encounter with the late actor.
Diljit in his latest Instagram post also expressed the film should be released in theatres first like his fans. Penning further he mentioned how he had met the actor twice and was totally left impressed with his personality. Ending his note by urging the people to watch his movie on the OTT platform on its release, he wrote, “Eh Tan Theatre ch v Release Honi Chaidi Aa.. 2 Vaari Mileya c mai Veer Nu.. JAANDAAR BANDA C YAAR.. Zarur Dekha Ge Hotstar Te V #sushantsinghrajput”
He also shared the poster of the film along with his note.
The late actor’s this film will mark two debuts in Bollywood, casting director, Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut and actress Sanjana Sanghi’s acting debut as the female lead in the movie.
Sanjana too asked the late actor’s fan to adore the film irrespective of whichever platform its release. She recently recorded her statement at the Bandra Police station and as per reports in India TV, she denied the claims of sexual harassment on the late actor which had surfaced on the internet last year in 2019.
