With Enforcement Directorate's help, the Narcotic Control Bureau came into force and touched on many important points in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Rhea Chakraborty got arrested by NCB on September 3 in connection to drugs which is linked with Sushant. The actress was then moved to Byculla Jail and Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde filed for bail. The hearing of Rhea and Showik’s bail plea took place yesterday at Mumbai sessions court. And today, the judgment was to be pronounced where reportedly, Rhea and Showik’s bail plea has been rejected by the court. Amidst all this, according to the latest updates, Times Now purported that a delivery boy revealed to NCB about delivering drugs to Rhea Chakraborty's residence during the Coronavirus lockdown.
The delivery boy claimed that 500 gms of Marijuana were couriered to Rhea's residence and Dipesh and her brother Showik Chakraborty were Rhea's accomplice. Times Now report also mentioned that they used to deliver the packets along with household items and they were delivered to Showik. Reportedly, NCB has interrogated the delivery boy who seemed to have identified two people, one of them is Showik and the other one is Dipesh Sawant.
As the bail plea got rejected by the court, Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik will approach the Bombay High Court, challenging the sessions court's order.
