Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14 left the nation shocked. In the days following his demise, the debate over nepotism in Bollywood, as well as other issues, reignited on social media. Kangana Ranaut had spoken up about the same, and had mentioned how his films were not appreciated despite being good. She had also talked about the negative media coverage. Now, author Chetan Bhagat, who had worked with Sushant on the film Kai Po Che, made some revelations in a recent interview, and also claimed that Sushant was upset about not getting credit for Chhichhore.
Chetan Bhagat, in an interview with Times Now, said that the negative media coverage around Sushant had affected him and that he was upset about not getting credit for Chhichhore, even though the film was a hit. “And poor Sushant couldn’t do anything,” he said. Chetan Bhagat was asked if Sushant had discussed this with him, to which the author said that Sushant had confided in director Abhishek Kapoor. “Yes, he told Abhishek that it used to bother him,” he said.
Chetan Bhagat said that the blind items written about Sushant also made the actor upset. During the interview, Chetan Bhagat said that it seemed like the people Sushant kept in his life weren’t the best kind of people. “He was just vulnerable and everybody seemed to be using him,” he said.
Meanwhile, the CBI has taken over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and they have questioned a few people linked to the actor. Yesterday, the CBI team had reportedly visited the residence of Sushant Singh Rajput with Siddharth Pithani and cook Neeraj to recreate the crime scene of June 14.
