The CBI has taken over the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case after the Supreme Court’s verdict on Wednesday. The investigation is currently on, and so far several people linked to Sushant Singh Rajput, including Siddharth Pithani and Sushant’s cook Neeraj, have been questioned by the CBI. Now, a report in Republic states that the CBI team visited the resort where Sushant Singh Rajput had stayed with Rhea Chakraborty’s family. However, they were denied access.
According to a report in Republic, the CBI officials visited the Waterstone resort in Mumbai. That is reportedly the same place where Sushant and Rhea Chakraborty’s family had lived in the last year, allegedly for Sushant’s spiritual healing. Sources informed Republic that the CBI team was not allowed inside, after which they left. The ‘resort’ stay had been mentioned in the message that Sushant’s family had sent to Bandra DCP Paramjit Singh in February 2020, in which they had alerted danger to Sushant’s life.
According to the report, the informal complaint sent via Whatsapp by Sushant’s brother-in-law to the DCP read, “On the pretext of curing him of depression, she and family took him to a resort near the airport, and kept him there for months.”
Meanwhile, Times Now reported that Sushant’s landlord has been summoned by the CBI. They also reported that Sushant’s cook Neeraj, friend Siddharth Pithani and staff member Dipesh Sawant will be questioned once again by the CBI.
