The Central Bureau Of Investigation swung into action after the Supreme Court approved the CBI investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The CBI team is in Mumbai from the past 2 days and has already visited SSR’s flat, where he reportedly ended his life, interrogated cook Neeraj, received SSR's case diary, mobile and laptop from Mumbai Police, suggest the reports. SSR’s close friend Siddharth Pithani reached the DRDO guest house and another team of the CBI reached Cooper Hospital this afternoon.
Now here’s the latest development in the SSR death case. CBI questioned Mumbai Police on not getting a second opinion on the Sushant Singh Rajput post mortem report. As per the latest
Republic report, CBI quizzed Bandra cops on why they did not approach another team of doctors or experts for a second opinion on the autopsy report of the late Bollywood actor. Another latest set of reports also stated that CBI is seeking medico-legal opinion on the autopsy report of Sushant from the forensic team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Sudhir Gupta, head of forensic science department at AIIMS Delhi, told IANS, “The CBI has contacted us and they wanted a competent medical board to examine the postmortem report, the crime scene and give an opinion along with the request to visit Mumbai to cross verify the facts.”
