Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans as well as the late actor’s family had been demanded a CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case right from the beginning. So when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officially took over the case, his fans and family heaved a sigh of relief, and were hopeful that justice would be served. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was investigating the drug angle in the case, and upon further investigation, names of Bollywood celebrities emerged in the drugs link. Recently, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family layer Vikas Singh had said that he didn’t know where the case was headed and that all attention is being diverted to the drugs case. Now, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued an official statement that they are looking into all aspects.

Now, the CBI has denied allegations by Sushant’s family lawyer about all attention being diverted to the drugs case. The statement issued by the CBI read, “The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting professional investigation related to death of Shri Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date. Investigation is continuing.”

Meanwhile, ANI quoted Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh saying, “Today, we are helpless as we don't know which direction the case is going in. Till today, CBI has not done a press briefing on what they have found out. I'm not happy with the speed at which the case is going.”

He further added that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family feels that the probe in Sushant’s death case was being taken in a different direction. “All attention is being diverted towards the drugs case. AIIMS doctor told me that Sushant's death was by strangulation,” he said.
