The Supreme Court passed the verdict and ordered the CBI to take over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, on Wednesday. The CBI team has swiftly started the probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and it was yesterday that a team of CBI from Delhi arrived in Mumbai. Today, the CBI team brought in the cook Neeraj for questioning. Now, as per latest reports in Times Now, house manager Samuel Miranda was also interrogated by the CBI.  

Times Now reported that after interrogating the cook Neeraj, who was a part of Sushant’s staff, the CBI has now also interrogated Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda. Meanwhile, it was also reported by Times Now that the CBI has taken the digital video recording (DVR) of Sushant’s apartment, and they will also be probing the ‘CCTV tampering’ angle. Sources informed the news channel that the DVR acquired by the CBI will be given to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) to see whether any tampering was done with the CCTV footage.

In the days following Sushant’s death, several conspiracy theories had surfaced on social media, and one of the theories suggested that the CCTV wasn’t working the night before Sushant’s death. Some also alleged that the CCTV was tampered with.


Meanwhile, after Supreme Court ordered the CBI to take over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Sushant’s family released a statement on social media thanking everyone for their support. It read, “We, Sushant's family thank our friends, well-wishers media and millions of fans worldwide for their love for Sushant and support for us. We are particularly thankful to Shri Nitesh Kumar, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Bihar for setting the wheel of justice in motion. Now that the country's premier investigating agency has taken over, we believe that all those involved in the dastardly crime will be brought to justice.”
