Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: One Of The Drug Peddlers Who Provided Narcotics To The Late Actor Arrested In Goa, Updates NCB

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. Soon after his demise, many investigating agencies started probing his death case. Apart from the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Narcotics Control Bureau also came into the picture as a drug angle emerged in his death case. Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were also arrested by the NCB in the same case and were sent to jail. They were later granted bail. Now, latest update coming in from the NCB is that one of the drug peddlers who used to reportedly supply narcotics to Sushant has been arrested.

As reported by news agency ANI, the Narcotics Control Bureau has conducted several raids in Goa and made a few arrests. Out of the three people arrested, reportedly, one of them used to supply Narcotics to the late actor. A tweet made by the news agency reads, "Three persons including one person who was providing drugs to Bollywood actor late Sushant Singh Rajput have been arrested by NCB in Goa: Sameer Wankhede, Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai." An earlier tweet made by the news agency about the raids in Goa read, "Officers of NCB Mumbai are conducting raids on some places in Goa. A huge amount of drugs have been recovered and some drug peddlers have been taken into custody: NCB officer."

As the Narcotics Control Bureau stepped in to investigate the case, a lot of Bollywood celebrities came under the scanner of the NCB. Stars like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and others were called in for interrogation.
