Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: NCB To Ask Mumbai Police For Late Actor’s Seizure Memo To Check Whether Rhea Chakraborty’s CBD Oil Was Consumed

Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly ended his life on June 14, 2020. While the preliminary reports suggested the Kedarnath actor was suffering from clinical depression, news of him procuring drugs started making headlines and how. The Narcotics Control Bureau got involved after the Enforcement Directorate wrote to them the mention of drugs in Rhea’s chats accessed by them. Not only Rhea, the drug-angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case saw other names like her brother Showik Chakraborty, Dipesh Sawant, Siddharth Pithani, manager Shruti Modi, Jaya Saha, and others emerging.

You may recall, there was the mention of CBD oil in Rhea and Jaya Saha’s chat. Rhea’s chat alleged that Jaya used to give CBD oil to Rhea which was provided. Their conversation suggested Jaya had told Rhea to use 4 drops in tea, ‘let him sip it …. Give it 30-40 mins to kick in’. Now, probing the CBD angle, NCB is likely to ask Mumbai Police for SSR’s seizure memo. As per the latest report in Republic, NCB wants to check if SSR ever procured CBD oil and if cops have seized or recovered it from the crime at the scene.

A source close to the development revealed, “NCB will write to Mumbai Police and CBI to hand over the seizure memo so as to find out whether the CBD oil mentioned in her chats was seized or recovered,” reports in Republic.

When Jaya was interrogated by NCB, she was reportedly asked about the CBD oil she had given to Rhea for Sushant. As per an India Today report, Jaya told ED, “Sushant had contacted me and told me that he suffered from depression. I suggested him to take the CBD oil with tea and coffee for relaxation." Saha also said the oil was completely legal and easily available on shopping portals.
