Since the sudden and untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been investigating the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood. In connection to the ongoing drug case investigation, the NCB has arrested an alleged drug peddler. According to the latest report, the agency is now planning to conduct an investigation into the man’s role in the drug case connected to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In another significant development in regards to the drug case, it was only recently that the NCB arrested SSR’s roommate Siddharth Pithani.
According to a report in Zoom, on Wednesday, PTI reported that an NCB official said that the agency has arrested Haris Khan over his alleged links with gangster and drug peddler Parvez Khan. The official in the report mentioned that Khan was arrested on Tuesday. As per the report, the alleged drug peddler was arrested after an NCB team, lead by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede conducted raids at several locations in suburban Andheri, Lokhandwala, and Bandra. An official said in the report, “As of now, the NCB has arrested Khan in connection with the Chinku Pathan drugs case, but his role in the drug case linked to Rajput's death will also be investigated.”
For the unversed, last week, the NCB arrested Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani from Hyderabad. Later on Sunday, SSR’s two former househelp’s Neeraj and Keshav were also summoned for questioning.
