The investigation in regards to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case is underway in full force. It was yesterday that the Centre accepted the Bihar government's request for CBI probe. The Supreme Court, on the other hand, has asked the Mumbai Police to submit all the details of their investigation in three days. As for the Enforcement Directorate (ED), we reported how they have asked Rhea Chakraborty to appear before them by August 7. Now, as per a report in Republic TV, Sushant's housekeeping manager Samuel Miranda, who had been missing from the scene ever since the tragedy took place, is currently being grilled by the ED.
As per the news portal, Samuel Miranda has been conspicuous because of his absence. Reportedly, the ED had summoned him on Wednesday as well but they couldn't interrogate him after his neighbours alleged him of suspiciously hiding. As per Republic, the ED has summoned Samuel to question about Sushant's finances and his link to Rhea Chakroborty. Miranda was allegedly hired by Rhea and used to handle Sushant's finances on behalf of her. The ED is probing the questionable transactions made from the late actor's bank account.
They are reportedly also looking at all the three companies funded by the Kai Po Che actor and jointly owned by Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty.
As per Republic, the Jalebi actress' accountant, too, had also been summoned by the ED but he didn't turn up, citing heavy rainfall in Mumbai as the reason. According to Republic, Miranda, at ED's office, was also asked, "It was said you had colluded with Rhea?" by the reporters, to which, he chose to not to comment.
