More than a month after Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly ended his life on June 14, CBI began to investigate his case closely. While no major twists have been reported so far, the latest update about the Sushant Singh Rajput death case may leave you surprised. According to a latest report in Republic, that the investigating agency is considering to add murder charge under Section 302 of the IPC in the case. A source close to the development revealed to the Republic made the big revelation. 

Earlier, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy had tweeted, “It is troubling for SSR fans to see various investigations are treading too cautiously for the satisfaction of those who want early justice for Sushant. I think it about time CBI registers an FIR u/s 302 since it is bound to do so under law given the information obtained so far.”

As per latestlaws.com, section 302 of the Indian Penal Code deals with murder. "Whoever commits murder shall be punished with death, or [imprisonment for life] and shall also be liable to fine."

Confirming the same, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media and called it great news. She Tweeted, “CBI to file a case under SECTION 302 what a great news!! #Revolution4SSR.” Since morning rumours mills are abuzz that Rhea Chakraborty met SSR a night before he allegedly hung himself.
