Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, in his Mumbai residence and died allegedly by suicide. Later, the very same day, the actor’s mortal remains were taken to Cooper hospital for post-mortem and other proceedings. As SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was seen visiting the mortuary at Cooper hospital where late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s mortal remains were kept, on June 15, as per a report, the BMC reacts and reveal that they had not permitted the visit of the actress.
According to an IANS report, the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) revealed to the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) that they did not grant any permission to actress Rhea Chakraborty to visit the hospital morgue where late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's mortal remains were kept. As per the report, reportedly, SHRC Acting Chairman's M.A. Sayeed who issued the notice is not satisfied with the reply of the BMC and have ordered them to file a detailed affidavit that includes names and versions of all people who were present at the time when Rhea visited the mortuary.
On the other hand, the Dead of R.N. Cooper Hospital, Pinakin Gujjar, appeared before the SHRC with a civic Law Officer and submitted a letter that mentioned that the BMC had not granted any permission to Rhea Chakraborty to enter the morgue. Meanwhile, the SHRC has also sent a reminder notice to Mumbai Police seeking their immediate response in the matter.
