Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, and his sudden demise left the nation shocked. While Mumbai Police was investigating the late actor’s death case at first, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) then took over the investigation. Statements of several people linked to the actor, were recorded by the CBI. There were reports that Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani may turn witness for CBI in Sushant’s death probe. Now, according to Republic, Sushant’s cook Neeraj is also likely to turn witness in the probe.

Sources informed Republic that Sushant’s cook Neeraj may turn witness, as could Siddharth Pithani. According to the report, Neeraj Singh was under the CBI’s radar and the CBI was monitoring his movements. The report states that Neeraj’s uncle confirmed that he was in Delhi and would appear before the Court from there. Neeraj reportedly changed his contact number after the questioning by the CBI. According to Republic, Neeraj sought the CBI’s permission before leaving Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Republic also reported that Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani may turn witness in the investigation, and could record a statement with the CBI under Section 164. The report further adds that he may already have reached Delhi for the proceedings.

Siddharth Pithani and Neeraj were two of the people in the Bandra apartment where Sushant Singh Rajput had died on June 14. Currently, Sushant’s death case is being investigated by multiple agencies- the CBI, Enforcement Directorate, the Narcotics Control Bureau.
