After the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) also came into force when a drug-angle emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. On September 4, Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda were arrested by the NCB after raiding their residences and interrogating them for long hours. Showik even reportedly confessed to NCB that the drugs were procured for Rhea. That's not it, the chats between Showik and Rhea discussing drugs and 'buds' were also leaked in the media. Amidst all this, the latest development stated that Rhea who is is the prime suspect in this case from day 1 has been summoned by NCB for questioning, claimed TOI.
The session is said to be done tomorrow that is September 6, as reported by TOI. Nevertheless, Rhea will be taken into custody or not is yet to be seen. However, the latest reports also suggest that a drug peddler Kaizen Ibrahim has been granted bail by Mumbai's Esplanade court. He was sent to 14-day judicial custody earlier today. Reportedly, drug peddler Zaid Vilatram and Kaizen Ebrahim along with Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora were taken under custody.
After it was reported that Showik Chakraborty is being arrested, Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti who has been fighting for the truth since day 1 shared a screenshot of a news channel flashing the same news and backed it with, "Thank you God Keep guiding all of us in the direction of TRUTH! #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #GreatStartNCB #Warriors4SRR #Flag4SSR"
On the other hand, the CBI team along with an AIIMS doctor reached Sushant's house to recreate the crime scene in the presence of his sister Meetu Singh.
