Apart from CBI, Sushant Singh Rajput's death is also being handled by the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau. So far, people like Rhea Chakraborty, Sandip Ssingh have been under constant media and police scrutiny. From the people who are currently under the radar is also the late actor’s flatmate, Siddharth Pithani. He reportedly has been grilled by the CBI and ED several times in connection to Sushant's suicide case. In fact, the officials have found inconsistencies in the statements of Pithani about events unfolded on June 13 and June 14. Amidst all this, the latest development suggests Pithani making some massive admissions on the CBI probe to the Republic.
Well, Siddharth revealed that there were people in the house and have claimed that he gave the names to CBI. However, the names in question were not revealed by Pithani as the matter is under investigation. Siddharth Pithani even revealed to the CBI that in total, eight hard drives were destroyed in Sushant Singh Rajput's home on June 8, the day when Rhea reportedly left the actor's house. When Republic inquired him about the hard drives, Siddharth refused to answer it and said, 'no comments.' Recently, Sushant’s family friend Smita Parikh, while speaking to Republic, shared the details of her conversation with Siddharth Pithani that took place after SSR’s death. Smita Parikh also said Siddharth had ‘forgotten’ to call Rhea Chakraborty as the late actor's other friend Sandip Ssingh ‘hurried procedures.’
On the other hand, so far, CBI has interrogated Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj and house help Dipesh Sawant. They have also summoned Rhea Chakraborty who has been the prime suspect since day 1 by CBI.
