Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020 and ever since then, headlines are all about his case. Rhea Chakraborty, who is reportedly the prime accused in his death case, is also ruling the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Not just celebrities and fans of Sushant Singh Rajput, even the politicians are sharing their point on view on the case. Recently, Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota who has turned a politician also spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

To news agency IANS, he stated that Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty's matter has become a national issue, which should have not happened. Anup Jalota was quoted saying, "The Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty matter has been projected as a national issue but it is not a national issue. It is about an actor and his girlfriend who also happens to be an actor. It is not a national security issue that should be highlighted thus, and people hit the roads to protest against it. It is a matter related to people's sentiment."

He was further quoted saying, "He (Sushant Singh Rajput) was a really good actor. I used to admire his work and I have met him on a few occasions. I feel connected to him but we shouldn't make his death a national issue. People related to him are trying to get justice for him, and I feel justice should be served as early as possible, and the truth should emerge."

Meanwhile, Anup Jalota was recently in the news because of his viral picture with former Bigg Boss 12 partner Jasleen Matharu.  (Also Read: Jalseen Matharu-Anup Jalota Viral Wedding Picture: Bhajan Singer Reacts, 'I Am Not The Groom'- EXCLUSIVE)
