The Supreme Court has admitted Maharashtra Government’s plea against Salman Khan’s acquittal in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

More than 13 years after he was accused of killing one person and injuring four in a hit-and-run case, the Bombay High Court had cleared Salman of all charges in December, last year. Soon after, the state government had also said that it will move the apex court against the verdict.

With Sultan hitting the screens
tomorrow, the latest development is definitely a dampener for the actor. His only respite is that the SC has refused to fast track the case. This means that the court is going to look into each and every aspect of the case before taking a final decision.

The day for the first hearing has not yet been fixed.
